The aim was to develop and test a technical and didactic training offer in a specific professional field for teachers of vocational schools on the basis of a needs analysis in Albania.
As part of the measure, the participants got to know job-oriented vocational school lessons using various examples of theoretical and practical teaching. They have analysed the lessons they have seen and thereby gained suggestions for planning and carrying out their own lessons with subsequent reflection.
The sustainable social and economic development of Albania is, among other things, the focus of the cooperation between Baden-Wuerttemberg and Albania.
Economic development requires well-trained specialists. Through the qualification of teachers from vocational schools, training in Albania is to be further developed in a labour market-oriented manner.
In cooperation with experts from vocational schools in Baden-Wuerttemberg, the Center for School Quality and Teacher Education (Zentrum für Schulqualität und Lehrerbildung – ZSL) offered professional and didactic advanced training in a professional field. The subject-didactic content was deepened, exemplarily implemented in the concrete planning of a teaching unit and tested in the classroom.
